The room was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and had a cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the town center and surrounded by amazing countryside.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by having slightly bigger bath towels. Everything else was perfect and we couldn't fault anything.

Great attention to detail and nice layout in the cottage. Enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and cosy sitting area. The garden was a pleasant addition, perfect for relaxing.
The location was not ideal, as it was quite far from the town center and amenities. The cottage itself felt quite small and cramped, especially in the bedrooms.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming Victorian coach house in a beautiful Border town. The cottage was tastefully decorated and had a well-equipped kitchen, although I didn't have the chance to use it much as I was out exploring. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The owners had thoughtfully provided some goodies, including eggs, milk, biscuits, and even an Easter chocolate bunny. The cottage also had a lovely garden for relaxation in warmer weather. It was conveniently located, just a short walk from the town center. I had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend this accommodation.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a mat inside the front door on wet days to prevent slipping.

The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were amazing and so, so comfy with lovely bedding. Everything is thought about at Fox Cottage - games, DVDs, books, menus for local takeaways and ideas for things to do in the local area. The cottage's location is ideal, just a short walk from the high street. Beautiful views of the hills from the garden and bedroom windows. Can't wait to book again!
